Colorado's oldest county fair — and completely free to park and attend. This weekend is the final days: carnival rides, livestock shows, the Kids' Corral, petting zoo, 4-H exhibitions, and Grandstand events including Bull Riding and Demo Derby. Saturday Aug 9 is the last day, so don't sleep on it.

Louisville's summer street faire series, with local vendors, live music, and a block party feel in one of Boulder County's most charming downtowns. Pair it with dinner on the street and make a Friday evening of it.
